New for this year, the Diversity and Inclusion Award will recognise all those organisations that are making a difference in harnessing a truly diverse workforce and that excel in their commitment to equality and inclusion across all strands of diversity. This includes gender, race, sexual orientation, disability inclusion and gender identity.
New for this year, the ESG Initiative Award will focus on specific activities, strategies or internal policies that wind and renewable energy companies are implementing to drive strong performance on sustainability and ethics. We will assess entrants based on the impact they have in the three main pillars of ESG: environmental, social and governance.
New for this year and following the success of our Green Fund Power List in 2020, our judges will be looking to recognise the best funds that focus either solely on renewable energy, or direct significant money into renewables in broader Environmental, Social & Governance or Socially Responsible Investment funds.

Do you work for a bank or other financial institution that is having a significant impact on the global wind sector? Are you lending the funds that make major deals happen offshore and/or onshore? Are you notable for the volume of funds you lend, or finding financial structures that rivals haven’t considered? Judges will be looking for a lender that can demonstrate their impressive results.

New for this year, the Risk Management Award aims to recognise excellence in risk management strategies and tools across the entire supply chain. Our judges will be looking for examples of progress and innovation in risk management in the past 12 months.

Prime is another example of an organisation that had a very good 2021, despite the challenges of covid. They have diversified both in terms of their types of funds and technology focus. They also recognise the value of long-term relationships with their investors. This team are performing very well in mobilising capital and putting it to work in the Nordics.

Allianz is one of the leading investors in the sector, with an experienced team and a proud track record. Their investment in Hollandse Kust Zuid stands out as a great achievement for a team of its size, due to the complexity and zero-subsidy offtake arrangements.

A well thought entry, which shows how hungry they are to grow in the sector. The examples of thought leadership they provided as well as the evidence of the different markets they’re operating in, was very impressive.
