Nordic developers demonstrate leadership in an uncertain Power-to-X market

This meeting was a truly Nordic affair, with our members presenting on projects in active development across Denmark, Sweden, Finland and Norway. Some of the key takeaways were:

• Despite the apparent similarity of the markets, there is significant technical diversity in the Nordic projects being pursued, and a wide array of different business cases
• Identifying and exploiting ’demand pockets’ will be key to the development of the industry in the short-term – establishing proof of concept and workable templates before the market scales
• Faced with global headwinds and uncertainty, P2X developers need greater self-sufficiency, but the progress of Nordic projects is a shining example of what the sector is capable of

For many of the team at Tamarindo, strategic communications and PR is our day job – but in an emerging market like green hydrogen, it’s important to take the opportunity to cut through the hype, talk openly around technical and regulatory challenges and discuss routes to meaningful collaboration.
