Swiss company Alpiq has agreed to sell its Bulgarian activities to Austrian independent power producer Renalfa IPP.
Alpiq is selling the 72.5MW Vetrocom wind farm in Bulgaria; its operations and maintenance arm Alpiq Wind Services; and Alpiq Energia’s Bulgarian trading business. Renalfa IPP is a joint venture between RGreen Invest and Renalfa Solarpro.
The deal is subject to regulatory approval, including from competition authorities.
