CIP and Viviid close on 300MW Indian project

Copenhagen Infrastructure Partners and Viviid Renewables have taken a final investment decision to build a 300MW onshore wind project in India’s Karnataka region.

The project is set to be made up of 3.3MW turbines from Chinese manufacturer Envision Energy’s Indian arm, and is due to be commissioned in late 2025. CIP owns a majority stake in the project through its Copenhagen Infrastructure New Markets 1 fund.
