US data centre operator Digital Power Optimization has signed a 100MW power purchase agreement to use electricity from wind farms to power data centres in Texas.

DPO said the seller owned multiple wind farms in Texas with headline capacity of 150MW, but did not disclose the company’s identity. It added that the PPA would help power multiple data centres that it is due to bring online by mid-2025.
