Ukrainian developer DTEK has agreed with Vestas to expand the 114MW Tyligulska wind farm in Ukraine to 500MW by the end of 2025.
DTEK commissioned the 19-turbine first phase in spring 2023, and now plans to add 64 more turbines. The firms said the second phase will require investment of around €450m; and that turbine installation is due to start in the second quarter of 2024 with commissioning due to happen gradually between late 2024 and late 2025.
