Ikea owner Ingka Investments is buying a 49% stake in a 2.4GW portfolio of Swedish offshore wind projects from Swedish developer OX2 for an initial €20m.
The deal includes the Pleione project east of Gotland and the Neptunus project southeast of Blekinge. The companies are also set to explore opportunities to use electricity from the pair for the production of green hydrogen.
