SSE Renewables and Equinor are mulling plans to add green hydrogen production to their planned 2GW Dogger Bank D offshore wind project in the North Sea.
The pair are developing the scheme in a 50:50 joint venture. They have brought in Fichtner, Genesis and H2GO Power to explore whether it would be feasible to add green hydrogen production to the complex. Dogger Bank D is part of the broader Dogger Bank offshore wind complex in UK waters.
