Vesper Energy sells US solar-storage project to ‘leading Fortune 500 energy company’

Vesper Energy has sold its Deer Creek Renewable Energy project – a California scheme consisting of up to 50 MWac of solar and up to 50 MW of energy storage capacity – to a “leading Fortune 500 energy company”, according to a statement.

Deer Creek Renewable Energy is located on 378 acres in Tulare County, California.

Vesper Energy has two additional projects currently in development in Tulare County. The company’s development pipeline in California totals approximately 1750 MW of solar and energy storage projects.

Mark Rostafin, co-CEO at Vesper Energy, said: “We are excited about the sale of the Deer Creek Renewable Energy project, which showcases Vesper Energy’s strong growth and development portfolio in key renewable energy markets like California.
