Lisa McDermott

Lisa has over 25 years’ experience in structured finance of which 12 within the renewable energy sector. Since 2013, she has been part of the Project & Infrastructure Finance team of ABN AMRO, where she leads the bank’s Energy Transition financing activities.

During her time with the bank Lisa has spearheaded ABN AMRO’s multi-technology renewables growth across Europe and has been at the forefront of structuring and unlocking financing for emerging transition technologies, such as energy storage pathways, floating wind, green hydrogen, PtX and advanced biofuels.

Lisa is also an experienced non-executive director/advisory board member for PE and infra-backed energy transition-focussed businesses

Lisa started her career as a lawyer before going on to hold several senior origination, structuring and management roles within the financial industry. She holds a first-class honours degree in Common and Civil Law with French from Queen’s University, Belfast and Sciences Politiques, Bordeaux and a postgraduate diploma in law from the Nottingham Trent University.

Lisa is listed in Tamarindo’s ”Global Energy Transition Power List” which profiles the top 100 professionals leading the growth of renewable energy and related technologies globally.
