With her background in (business) development and structured finance in the renewable energy sector, Marie is now assisting various stakeholders in the industry as independent consultant providing strategic, financial structuring and sell-/buy-side support.

Marie is one of the founders of Green Giraffe, where she advised stakeholder such as developers, investors and supply/construction companies on various strategic and financial structuring mandates. Majority of her advisory work was focussed on early stage (offshore) wind development projects where she led the financial structuring, debt and equity raising and project management up to financial close. Before her latest role, Marie held various senior positions at Ørsted where her responsibilities included origination, structuring and executing strategic partnerships and acquisition of early stage development projects to further expand Orsted’s global pre-construction portfolio.
